We are so glad that you are visiting us on the internet today. We hope that our website will introduce you to our church, and more so, inspire you to join us for worship. Should you do so, there are some things that we can assure you will happen. First, you will be genuinely welcomed. Second, you will have the opportunity to worship. At Avon Church we do not use words, like "Traditional" or "Contemporary," or "Heritage." We just worship God. Thirdly, we can assure you of relevant Bible teaching as the Bible is our primary resource for instruction on living a meaningful life of Faith.
Our Mission
The Mission of Avon Community Church of God is to WIN, EQUIP and SEND followers of Jesus Christ into the world with a message of hope.
12eleven Youth Ministry
The youth group at Avon Community Church of God is a safe and fun place for kids in grades 7th through 12th to come and hang out with others while learning about Jesus Christ.
Children's Ministry
The Children's Ministry at Avon Community Church of God is a place for kids infants to 2 years old to play in the nursery, 3 to 5 years to learn about Jesus in their own class, and Kindergarten through 6th graders to be in their own separate class to learn about Jesus Christ.
Services
Sunday morning coffee, donuts and fellowship begin at 9:30 AM.
Sunday Morning service begins at 10:00 AM.
Wednesday night Bible Study for adults begins at 6:00 PM.
